My introduction

My name is Tanja Elg and I'm 19 years old. I live in Porvoo with my fiancé and my 2-year-old son. We also have a cat named Kille. I spend my free time by playing with my son mostly. When I have time I go to the gym or play videogames. I'm studying at engine-and metal-line. My occupation will be a maintenance technician.

I applied to this line because I like machining and processing metal. The best thing about my studies have been my teachers. They are so supportive and motivational. My only work experience is from my on-job-learning period. I was 8 weeks in Pth-Metalli at my on-job-learning period.

In the future I want to raise my family and buy a farmhouse. I want to teach my kids how to fix engines. But after my vocational studies I have to go study at a university of applied sciences.

As an employee and student I am helpful, social and industrious. I enjoy working hard and using my head at problem solving situations.

However, be careful when you translate the following things: Automaatiotekniikan ja kunnossapidon osaamisala, kunnossapitoasentaja should be translated as follows: Competence area in Automation Technology and Maintenance, Maintenance Fitter. So you are going to be a maintenance fitter and you are studying automation technology and maintenance. These are the official translations that the Ministry of Education uses.

Also the following words could be corrected:
1) to raise a family (not grow)
2) my vocational studies (not occupational)
3) at a university ... (remember the correct preposition and article)
