Taking care of welding robot

Production of magnetbody, 8 ready blocks.

1. Planning the work: Which order do you execute the stages and when do you need to get more starting pieces.

2. Worksuit and safety: Be sure that you are wearing both safety boots and work clothes. Goggles should be also weared until you change them for the welding mask. You also have to protect your sense of hearing with earmuffs before starting.

3.Preparation of engines: Start the welding machine and open the gas tap. Also check that robot's gas and pneumatic taps are open. Make sure that robot is switched on. Turn on the robot's ventilation to the stage 4. Check that the robot's and welding machine's nozzles are clean.

4. Materials and tools: Make sure that there's enough materials on the platform. Also make sure that there's tools like a hammer, magnetbody jig, a chisel and a pliers on your workstation. At robot's table there should be a power drill, a hammer, equalisation steel and a pliers.

5. Start working by opening the wall-less's ready parts screws with power drill. Then lift the copper panel off the part.

6. Open the pneumatic lock by lever on the side of the table and lift the wall-less parts off the table. Take the parts to the workstation's desk where they wait for welding.

7. Search 16 gable parts and 8 middle parts from the material platform.

8. Put the gable parts and the middle parts on the robot's table into their places.

9. Close the pneumatic lock by the lever on the side and check with hammer that every parts' edges are againts the robot's tables model borders.

10. Place the copper panels on the parts and wring the screws by using only hands. Lastly wring the screws with power drill.

11. Move to the workstations desk and check the weld on the wall-less parts. Fix the welds if needed.

12. Place the magnetbody jig into the wall-less parts so their embedding fits to the parts holes. Then put the walls by rounding downwards into the body. Magnetbody jig's magnets pull the walls to the right position.

13. Tap the walls down to the body with the hammer. Then weld small welds to the corners between the walls and body.

14. Make sure that the walls are evenly in relation to the body. If the walls are higher than the edge of the body then that piece is failed. In that case throw the piece to the scrap metal.

15. Go to the robot's table and open other pneumatic lock with the lever on the front of the table. Then loose the ready parts from the front of the table and take them to the workstation wait for the inspection.

16. Place just welded parts to the front of the table in their places and close the pneumatic lock by the lever. Tap with hammer every part and make sure they are well in their places.

17. Make sure that there isn't any items on the robot's table and that robot's environment is clear.

18. Check out the robot's safety gates and start the program. The robot's table should now turn around and robot starts welding.

19.Go to the work station's desk and check weld quality from the ready bodies. If the welds are good and weld doesn't go over the edges of walls, then the body is acceptable.

20. Movegood bodies to the ready bodies platform.

21. If robot is still welding you can take next round pieces ready or clean up environment.

Sorry, it's been kind of busy when I'm working. Yes, it's ready now. If you don't mind, I will just kind of rush these tasks. I will still read the feedpack you are giving for me. Have a nice summer!

Thanks Tanja for the desription of the work process. You have so much information in your text! Photos would have been nice, since I know very little about robots and welding.

Take a look at some of the mistakes you made:

1) be sure that you are wearing both safety boots and work clothes (not: Be sure that you have safety boots on and work clothes weared)
2) wear, worn, worn (taivutus, kyse epäsäännöllisestä verbistä)
3) change for (not at)
4)article: the robot, the platform, a chisel, a power drill etc.
5) There are -rakenne, kun kyse on monikosta
6) Kohta 5, 9 -> käytä of-genetiiviä, on vaikea saada selvää muuten
6) Plase? Do you mean place?
7) Does the desription continue? Is there number 19?
