Pth-metalli's Workshop

Pth-metalli's workshop has been divided into five different parts according to the machines, equipment and work tasks. These parts are a paint shop, a welding area, a machine shop, a robot hall and a maintenance-lasercutting hall. Workstations are like around every hall. You can regonize a workstation by that there's a desk and a chair. In the welding area there's red curtain between workstations, it protects the eyes of passer-by for burning from welding light.

There are so many different engines and devices that even I can't name them all. Every part of workshop has different engines and devices that belong there. For example in the welding area there are welding machines and grinding machines

The basic tools that are in every part of workshop are tongs, hammer, cotter and¨screw wice. There are also some toolboards where you can get more tools if you need.

Because of work safety everyone has to put on safety boots and use goggles. It's also good to protect your sense of hearing by using earmuffs. For welders there are also welding masks. Also gloves are pretty good to have, those protect your hands from scrathes and dirt. There are also first-aid kits on the walls.

Work ergonomics are mainly good. Sometimes I've to weld objects that are so hard to handle, so I've to be in a bad work position.

There are different recycle bins in the workshop. These recycle bins are for metal, landfill, cans and spraybottles. Outside of the building there are recycle platforms where we empty smaller recycle bins.

The workshops tidiness depends on how much other employees are cleaning after their works. I usually clean my own mess and after that my workmates mess.

Employeers breakroom is upstairs of workshop. There are also the office and locker rooms. There is a microwave oven, a coffeemaker and an electric kettle in the breakroom. Some employeers go eat and drink to the breakroom during breaks and lunch time/hour.

I think workshop in its all in all works really well. Everything has its own place and it makes everything easier.

Thanks for your feedback. I don't have time to fix all my mistakes in my text but I'll fix as much as I can. And I still can't add any pictures.

Thanks Tanja for the information on your workshop. Well done! Your text was easy to understand and you used versatile vocabulary. There were no major problems with grammar either.

I have listed some of the mistakes you made, so please take a look at them:

1) has been spared -> do you mean: has been divided? (on jaettu)
2) equipment = laitteet (there is no s in the end, compare for example with the word homework)
3) articles: a paint shop, a welding area, in the welding area, the workshop, a hammer, in a bad work position, a coffee maker etc.
4) the eyes of passers-by (of-genetiivi)
5) cover -> could protect be a better verb?
6) from scrathes = naarmuilta
7) first aid kits (not spots)
8) during breaks and lunch time/hour
9) All in all, the workshop ... (not entirety)

At this moment I can't apply any pictures, I'll try again later.
